Daily Schedule

  • Morning Yoga / Stretching (offered three times each week in our tree top yoga pavilion)
  • Breakfast
  • Spanish Lessons (approximately 3 hours with a 15 minutes mid-lesson break)
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon open for 1-on-1 lessons, eco-tours, surf lessons, spa treatments and more
  • Dinner at Tierra Magnifica or at a Nosara local hot spots (dinner out three times each week)
  • After dinner events are planned three – four times a week (See special events)- Guests are welcome to head off for on their own for dinner or private tour.

 

*The healthy and delicious meals at Tierra Magnifica are created from fresh, local fruits and vegetables, fish, chicken and beef, served family style. Vegetarian dishes are available. Our guests are invited join us in the kitchen, don an apron and learn some local techniques for cooking Latin American cuisine and share some of your favorites with our staff.

 

Entertainment

We have arranged for several group gatherings throughout the week filled with food, music and dancing.

  • Tuesday- Post-Dinner Beach Bonfire Party 7:30pm
  • Wednesday- SIBU Sanctuary Service Project (after lunch)
  • Thursday- Latin Dance Night (after dinner)
  • Friday- Farewell Fiesta Dinner out in Nosara 7:00pm
  • Saturday- Free day
  • Sunday- Check-out 11:00 am

CPI Spanish Intensive Vacation Special Events

 

  • Welcome Reception and Dinner - We welcome you in Tropical style to Tierra Magnifica Retreat Resort with a sunset poolside welcome reception and dinner! We'll go over the schedule of activities at this time so you can sign up for the exciting tours and activities planned for the weeks ahead.
  • Latin Dance Night- Local dance instructors show us some Latin moves. Once we have loosened up our bodies to the Latin swing of things, we'll head into town to practice our moves at a local dance club.
  • Pottery Making Night- Come get your hands wet (and dirty) at this traditional Costa Rican pottery class taught by a local artist.
  • Dinner Beach Bonfire Party - Local musicians will join us for dinner at a beach bonfire party. The night heats up as we dance to the beats of local drums and strumming guitars around a spectacular bonfire. Feel free to bring your own instruments to join in the festivities or simply enjoy a few s'mores by the fire. *Cold drinks will be provided.
  • Home-made Pizza and Movie night (in Spanish with English sub-titles)
  • Dinner Out in Nosara- Three nights a week we'll have dinner out in Nosara at family-friendly venues Nosara has several wonderful casual restaurants offering delicious choices from Italian to French, local favorites and international cuisine. Our beach bar scene includes great live music and dancing to your heart's content.
